Weekend Snapshot - September 28

Hey Northgate,

For quite some time, our most popular and well-attended group has been Pastor Vern’s Monday Night Bible Study. For nearly a decade, this group has journeyed through books of the Bible at a slow and in-depth pace, usually one chapter at a time.

Teaching this class has been a true joy and passion for Pastor Vern, and it really showed! As we walked through this transition, I couldn’t imagine anyone else leading this class. I am excited to officially let you know that now we don’t have to.

On Monday, October 21 at 6:30 PM, the Monday Night Bible Study will return with Pastor Vern as the leader! This is a part of his ministry that he has found so life-giving that he has agreed to continue teaching, even in retirement. Having Pastor Vern continue to use his spiritual gift of teaching will be an amazing blessing for Northgate.

So, mark your calendars and plan to join us in person or on Zoom. The group will be going through the book of Galatians, so feel free to start reading and studying it ahead of time.

See you this weekend,

Pastor John
Lead Pastor

In particular we want to have this area cleaned up before our annual Vintage Christmas Event.  We're looking for about 6 additional people to help with this project for about 2-3 hours of work, and also are in need of a wood splitter. Please let Rick Kent (rkent12@gmail.com) know if you would like to help with this!
