Being Single

Michael Card
God desires for us to pour out our hearts to Him, whether in joy or pain. But many of us don’t feel right expressing our anger, frustration, and sadness in prayer. From Job to David to Christ, men and women of the Bible understood the importance of pouring one’s heart out to the Father.
 Peter Scazzero
Peter Scazzero learned the hard way: you can't be spiritually mature while remaining emotionally immature. Even though he was the pastor of a growing church, he did what most people do--avoid conflict in the name of Christianity; ignore his anger, sadness, and fear; use God to run from God; and live without boundaries.
Eugene H. Peterson
As a society, we are no less obsessed with the immediate than when Eugene Peterson first wrote this Christian classic. If anything, email and the Internet may have intensified our quest for the quick fix. But Peterson's time-tested prescription for discipleship remains the same--a long obedience in the same direction
Generation One
There are so many narratives, thoughts and emotions revolving around being single. If you're like us, much of what you've heard has leaned on singleness being a negative thing, but we had a conversation offering perspective on how to better see and steward your times of being single.

But in The Meaning of Marriage, Timothy Keller and his wife Kathy offer a deeper, biblical perspective. Drawing from Scripture and their 36 years together, they present an honest, hopeful vision of marriage rooted in God’s design.
Tim & Anne Evans
God’s design for marriage goes deeper than you might think. Tim and Anne Evans invite you to rediscover marriage as it was meant to be—by returning to the Garden of Eden. There, a man and woman were created in God’s image to reflect His Trinitarian nature, sharing in purpose, co-leadership, and intimacy without shame.
Elizabeth Beyer
Marriage has been around for millennia—but what if we've misunderstood its design? While many Christian books promote male leadership and female submission, this one offers a different, more biblical vision: marriage as a partnership of equals. With reflection questions and practical exercises, it’s perfect for couples at any stage—engaged, newlywed, or seeking deeper connection.
Ryan & Selena Fredrick
Discussing all things marriage: sex, communication, finances, priorities, purpose, and everything in between.
