You Can Count on This – John 2:17 – His disciples remembered that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me.”  (Read John 2:13-25)

Sometimes people are surprised when they read about Jesus causing mayhem in the temple courts.  That doesn’t square with their image of a “meek and mild” Jesus!  Jesus certainly is gentle and humble.  But he’s also passionate about us keeping our worship focus where it ought to be, because what we worship drives the way we live.

When you’re not sure what you can count on in the world around you, know this: You can count on God keeping his word.  So read what God has to say in scripture!  And count on it.
