San Juan, Puerto Rico

A team of eight people from Northgate traveled to San Juan, Puerto Rico for a week’s worth of restoration and reconstruction in the residential San Juan area. While there, they set to accomplish a number of projects ranging from repairing metal and concrete roofs to stuccoing, painting and cleaning debris.  They also assisted with refurbishing a multi-purpose building that will be used for children’s ministry, social activities and programs.

The local community rallied to help raise $3,000 in project costs through Free Methodist World Missions, with several additional donors providing crayons, markers, coloring books, bubbles, soccer balls and other gifts for the children, which was loaded up in suitcases and hand-delivered over the course of the missions trip.

Among the people traveling, our Northgate team included: Angelo Dispenza, Dan Miller, Chip Tiede, Cierra Tiede, Waylander Austin, Michelle Gillard, Rosalina Vanegas and Rich Cook.

Please continue to pray with us for this region devastated by the hurricane.
